Gazing around your small hut, you took notice that it was unkempt and dirty. While you loved your husband, Arthur, you had to admit, it was very messy. You ignored this fact and kept packing your bags, happy that you were about to go see your parents. You closed your suitcase and let down your (h/l) (h/c) hair to brush it out. After completing this task, you moved to the next one. You went to find your husband, Arthur, discovering he was outside.

"Arthur, it'll be fine! My parents will love you!" you reassured him.

He didn't want to go. The people of your kingdom hated Arthur. There was a reason you lived in the middle of nowhere. The people in your kingdom thought of Arthur as an ogre or some sort of monster, and he was an outcast. He was a little schizophrenic, but that didn't make him a monster!

You heard wooden wheels creak and you turned, seeing the white carriage had arrived.

"Arthur, the carriage is here," you said softly. He said nothing. "I'm going to go get my things," you muttered, entering your hut to grab your suitcase, as well as the one you packed for your husband. You brought them out and after leaving them for the carriage driver to place inside, you went to inform Arthur.

"Arthur, it's time to leave," you mumbled, kissing your husband's cheek.

"Alright, love," he answered, walking with you to the carriage.
---------------------------
You rose from your comfortable bed, walking to your vanity to wash your face. You raised your head after drying your skin and rolled your (e/c) eyes. You hated your kingdom, but still loved your parents. After finishing this assignment, you crossed to your closet, selecting a dress you thought your mother would absolutely love.

Anything to please mother, you thought, pulling on the uncomfortable dress. That was something your father had told you to help keep your mother happy. And you followed that rule.

After getting the ridiculous thing on, and slipping into shoes, you swung open your heavy wooden door, surprised by the man who stood before you.

"P-Prince?!" you demanded, planting your hands on your hips.

"No, love, it is I, Arthur! Don't you recognize zhe love of your life?"

This man was obviously not Arthur. This guy had longer hair than Arthur did and held a bouquet of flowers. He talked with a French accent, whereas your beloved husband had a British one. Your parents appeared behind him, smiling, so you reluctantly went with him, grimacing in your thoughts.
---------------------------
Over the next few days, you had discovered that this man was definitely not Arthur Kirkland.

First of all, he didn't wear lipgloss. He didn't have a French accent. He wasn't so romantic. He wasn't so flamboyant.

There was no doubt about it. The man who claimed to be Arthur was none other than Prince Francis Bonnefoy.
---------------------------
You danced around the ball room, your parents watching you with glee. You were obviously not in the arms of your beloved Arthur. The man you were dancing with was obviously Francis, the prince your parents had wanted you to marry. But Arthur had swept you off your feet before Francis could even look at you. Francis took a rose into his mouth, grinning as you continued dancing.

"_____!"

You turned, hearing Arthur's beautiful ring out from across the room.

"Get away from my wife!" Arthur yelled, riding inside on a horse. You took a step away from Francis, giving the prince a look of disgust. Arthur swung off his horse, and you both ran towards each other, embracing tightly.

"Stop them!" you heard Francis's mother yell. Guards ran forward, and Arthur quickly jumped onto the back of his horse and rode out.

That bastard! you thought, spinning around to face the many guards. You heard horse hooves clopping behind you and spun around, seeing Arthur on his horse riding towards you. He had his hand extended, and a look of worry on his face. With one hand you hiked up your skirts and the other you extended to Arthur.

As he rode past, he grabbed your hand, swinging you onto the back of his horse behind himself. You wrapped your arms around his torso, leaning your head on his back as you both rode away.
---------------------------
You giggled as your husband wrapped his arms around your waist once you were in the safety of your home.

"Love, I just realized something. We never finished the story we were telling on our wedding night," he whispered from behind, his lips brushing against your ear, tickling.

"I do believe it's your turn," you answered, smiling.

"After they got married, they found their dream home out in a remote spot where people couldn't bug them," Arthur told aloud, and you could hear the smile in his voice.

Grinning, you brought yourself to say the last six words.

"And we lived happily ever after."
