“Ya know, Akiko, you’ve already said that,” Eito smirks. This sends Akiko over the top. She spins on her heel, storming back to her black-haired friend.
“Well, ya know what? You’re kinda BEING A DICK!” Akiko screams, then slaps him.
The right side of Eito’s face is red, where Akiko’s hand connected.

“Nagihiko’s running late,” she growls, throwing her bag down at the couch.
“Why can’t you go without him?”

As the sophomore walks out the door, she runs into Eito.
“Ah, Eito-san, I didn’t see you there,” Akiko laughs.
“Oh, sorry. Nagihiko’s sick and he asked me to come walk to school with you,” Eito explained.
